Kade Morris

Coach Kade Morris brings a championship mindset, high-level collegiate experience, and a passion for player development to the Just Dawgs baseball program. A versatile infielder and catcher from Alvin, Texas, Kade built a decorated collegiate baseball career across multiple programs, earning All‑Southland Conference honors while consistently contributing offensively and defensively at the Division I level.

Throughout his college career, Kade was recognized for performance, leadership, and defensive excellence. He was named All‑Southland Conference Second Team and earned a spot on the SLC All‑Defensive Team during his senior season while helping his teams capture Southland Conference championships. Known for his power, situational hitting, and defensive reliability, he was a consistent game‑day presence and integral contributor in key moments.

Kade’s work ethic and competitive spirit extended beyond game day, helping shape him into a respected teammate and mentor. His collegiate playing experience at North Central Texas College, Alvin Community College, and McNeese State University provides valuable insight into guiding athletes through the demands of competitive baseball, both on and off the field.

Before McNeese, Kade was a standout at Alvin High School, earning Perfect Game Preseason All‑American Honorable Mention and thriving at the junior college level.

As a coach, Kade focuses on developing confident, fundamentally sound players. He emphasizes defensive fundamentals, offensive approach, catchers’ field leadership, situational awareness, and a team‑first mentality—skills he demonstrated throughout his playing career.

• Had five multi‑hit and five multi‑RBI games; finished the season strong, hitting .429 over his last 10 games with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs.

2020 JUNIOR
• Shortened season; appeared in nine games (six starts), hitting .318 with four RBIs and six runs scored.
