Jaycee Maples is a highly competitive and versatile athlete in the 2029 class who stands out for her defensive leadership, athleticism, and strong overall softball instincts. As both a catcher and outfielder, she brings toughness, energy, and reliability to every inning while consistently showing the ability to impact the game in multiple ways.

Behind the plate, Jaycee is an advanced defensive catcher with excellent blocking ability, quick footwork, and a powerful throwing arm. She manages the game with confidence, communicates well with teammates, and does an outstanding job controlling opposing runners with her fast release and accuracy. Her awareness and reactions allow her to handle pressure situations effectively, while her versatility gives her the ability to contribute anywhere on the field when needed.

At the plate, Jaycee proved to be one of the most productive hitters during her freshman season at Santa Fe High School. She finished the year with a .495 batting average, .581 on-base percentage, and 1.278 OPS while consistently creating offense through disciplined at-bats and aggressive baserunning. Her ability to make consistent hard contact, compete in pressure moments, and capitalize on scoring opportunities makes her a dangerous offensive player.
