Reed Derouen is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5’7 130 lb. frame from Santa Fe, TX who attends Santa Fe High School. Compact, wiry build. Ran a 8.13 in the sixty. Showed well in outfield and first base drills. Confident first step quickness. Intent to the arm and accuracy stood out. Solid feel for positions. Uses size well and controls limbs. Arm is clean and compact, gets to the bag. Also pitched, stretch only and works into a higher three-quarter slot. Big shape to 1-7 breaking ball and mixes speeds well. Feel to pitch. Left-handed hitter, balanced stance and high hand set. Looks to work the barrel out front and showed well up the middle on a couple of liners. Solid fundamental with good intent in the box.
